General Meeting

held at the Ballina RSL Club

General Business

FNC Winter Development Squad:
Graham Lees has costed the camp to be held at the Sport and Rec. camp at Lennox Head. Costs will be $82.50 per head. There will be 4 swimming sessions with 3 sessions with specialists: physiotherapist, nutritionist, technical official. There will be 2 nights accommodation, all meals, and morning and afternoon tea, and all activities at the camp facility. Angelo Basalo, the coach allocated to us from NSWSA under the Country Coaches scheme, will be asked to attend and conduct the camp, with all coaches from the FNC District asked to apply for coaching positions. For every 20 'campers' we will receive 1 free placing. The camp can accommodate 160 people, so we will encourage as many applicants as possible to attend. The camp will start at lunchtime on the Friday and end on the Sunday at lunchtime. Dates have been booked for the 11th to 13th October 2002. Applications for Managers to be received by Friday 6th September.

Development Squad to proceed at a cost of $85 per swimmer, FNC Swimming will fund the extra costs involved in providing T-shirts, coaches, managers etc. Graham Lees to contact clubs and coaches.

Outstanding fees:
Many clubs have outstanding fees to FNCSA. A refund is to be given to clubs who paid for their non swimmers. Permission was granted to deduct any outstanding fees from the refunds.
